Hal changed in the movie becasue at first he was attracted to " good looking females " He never paid attention to there personality. Every time he seen a hot girl he would go for it. Hal changed when he went on the elevator and this guy he meant put a " Spell " on him . He changed from being attracted to females looks to now paying attention to whats on there inside.
Im both because , Ill go for a cute guy that has a good personality . Although looks in " all that " to me . If you go for looks all your life , in the end your going to be left heart broken. In the end of the movie hal realized the truth and even married her . Hal followed his heart and now he's with the one he want to spend his life with :)
