Hal, in the beginning was a very weak person. He seemed to
be insecure about himself by the way he acted. Hal had to act like he was a hot
shot in order to be okay with himself. Over the course of the movie Hal began
to grow. He started to transform into a man. Hal was casted with a spell to
make everyone look better, even after the spell was off he was still in love
with Rosemary. This shows that he learned so much. He no longer need to be with
a very attractive person to feel good about himself, none of that mattered
anymore. Hal did grow into a real man. And I believe it was for the better.
