Kramer VS Kramer

Truthfully we both don’t agree that she should’ve won the custody of Billy the kid. For the following reasons... First of all mothers young or old should never leave their kids because that could impact the kids life either in a positive or negative way depending on the mother’s situation, because if she didn’t have a good reason then she shouldn’t have a reason to leave. Second of all it would just ruin the relationship between the husband and the wife because both parents have different work schedules or either different lifestyles they would have a hard time with the child(ren), for example Ted Kramer had a very busy working schedule while Joanna just left the house with no worries, started a new life without Billy and later on she decided to show up like if nothing has happened. We know that when someone feels “out of it” they just want to be alone.

Ted Kramer could have done many things to become a better husband and or father but one major flaw that he had was that he didn't know how to manage his time wisely for either his son or wife. the reason why Joanna left him in the first place was because he wouldn't pay attention to her and did not spend as much time with billy and her, for a relationship to work both partners need to get the attention needed from one another in order to be happy. We both feel like Ted should get custody of billy because even though he didn't really know how to manage his time or really knew how to take care of the kid he still tried his best to make him happy, and also Ted didn't want to give billy back to joanna because he got too attached to billy and started to develop fatherly feelings for billy.
