I really don’t thing Hal is a mouse when it comes to him chasing women. I say this because a mouse just goes after whatever it sees unlike Hal he only chases girls he want and think is perfect ,even if they may be the wrong choice he still had a particular type.

Analyze Hal.
Hal to me is just a guy that had a traumatizing experience as a child and never really got of it. See Hal only sees the outer beauty of the women he dates, and unfortunately he is never close enough to one of his companions long enough to see their inner beauty because he was only cared for their physical appearances.
