Personally I believe that it does not matter who a child lives with post separation, as long as both parents are allowed and do play an active role in the child’s life and should participate to the point of not having to seem to have the child alone at least to the child. I think both parents should be allowed in the child’s life because anything less can be traumatizing and can truly harm or bother the child down the road, and a parent being selfish should not impede the child’s growth.
In the film Kramer vs. Kramer Johanna Kramer walks out on her husband and young son then comes back later after a more or less adjustment to the life style, and wishes to gain custody of Billy the son. I personally think that Joanna does not deserve custody of her son because she had proven herself to be flighty and even walked out on them both without a single goodbye to her child, she is also show to be emotionally unstable switching from a happy mother to sobbing wreck and back in seconds, so no I do not think she should get her child
