Knowing what I know about myself today, I am a person that follows my heart first. I act on what my heart tells me to do and think about the consequences later on. At the end of this movie, Hal follows the same path I do, he thinks with his heart. Hal doesn’t think of the consequences or obstacles he and Rosemary will have to face and doesn’t choose the more logical decision of staying home and working and so on. Instead, Hal decides to follow his heart and take the risk to follow the woman he loves because he doesn’t want to lose Rosemary. Hal no longer analyzed every move he made or calculated every option and characteristic he made about Rosemary, and he grew a lot as a person as a result of this change. By the time he had to make the decision to follow Rosemary, Hal was in love with Rosemary and knew it and chose to follow his heart and the woman he loved no matter what she looked like or where she was going.
