In the movie Kramer Vs. Kramer I understood what both parents were going through. But Joanna in this situation was pretty wrong. I feel like is she was stressed from the beggining she should have left along time ago instead of waiting for the wrong time to leave Billy . Ted in this situation took it better than i actually thought he would take it. Most fathers that i personally know wouldnt stay and work the way ted did. I grew up without a father and never really understood what was really happening until i got older. Ted made Billy understand what Joanna and him were going through. Years passed and Ted have grown to be a good father. Sometimes in order to learn you have to get out on your own. In the Kramer Vs Kramer story , Joanna leaving ted was pretty bad but i think its a good thing and it made him learn how being in his son life was actually more important than he thought.
