In my opinion Ted could’ve at least made space for his wife, even if it was just a minute. That minute would have let her know that she still runs thru his mind. I know his work was important because it brought bread to the table. But his family brings warmth to his heart. So I guess he was so stuck up and didn’t have time to listen to his family or even sit down and catch up with them since he didn’t see them as much. I know that life can be stressing, because I have one. But there’s times where you have to step out of your comfort zone and seriously pay attention to what is around you especially while having a kid and him being a little one. Billy was barely growing up and he needs his parents to be there for him. Ted should get custody of his child because he at least didn’t leave him without a reason. Also, there was a dramatic change of how Ted acted towards his child and demonstrated that he did love him and made up for him.
