I'm usually a person who goes by their heart. I choose by feeling rather than logic. At the beginning of the movie Hal was thinking with neither his head nor his heart but his dick. In the end when he makes his decision to find Rosemary and be with her he was thinking with his heart. When he decides to join the Peace Corps or go to Rosemary's house to find her he wasn't thinking about the consequences or what he was going to do afterwards, he just knew he loved her and want to be with her no matter where she was or what she looked like.
Question #3
At the beginning of the movie Rosemary had no self-esteem whatsoever, she couldn't see herself as pretty and didn't understand why someone would ever call her that. She thought Hal was joking, flattering or even mocking her by calling her that. As her relationship with Hal progressed she began to take his compliments and feel good about herself. If I was Rosemary's friend I would encourage her to think about good things about herself instead of just the negatives. Instead of taking about what she doesn't have think about what she does. Like an amazing personality, and how sweet and kind she is. If I was able to help her build up those self-esteem and should be more confident in herself and be able to approach men and be able to take a compliment without wondering if they were truly mocking her.
