I feel both parents should be able to love their child, even if they dont see eye to eye. Ted was able to bulit special bond with billy after joanna leaves both of them for a while; but that doesn't mean joanna can't come over and get time with billy. I think it would be too much for billy but at least he would be able to get use to seeing joanna on weekends or when ever they make plans. Joanna can still be billy mother, and can live with Ted.
