I believe that it most defiantly
does not matter who has custody of the child. What matters is who truly cares for
the child. A lot of times when fighting for custody one party is just fighting
for their child because they know if they take him/her away from their Ex that
they would be hurt in unexplainable ways and sometimes that’s all one wants
when another person they loved hurt them. I believe that a father is just as
capable of taking care of a child as a mother is. There should be no sexual discrimination;
it’s all depending on the person and the situation with the family. I don’t
think that mothers should get the upper hand just because they are the mother’s
eithers. I know plenty of lousy mothers, again it all comes down to the family.

1.) I
believe that Joanna does not deserve custody of her son. I think this because things
get hard for everyone, when you have a child your life changes. I completely
understand why she felt the way she did but there is no justification
for leaving her child. What would happen if she did get custody of
her son and she started feeling the same way again? It’s not fair to Billy and I
believe that in the end you could always say that Billy’s father was always
there. He may have been working too much but in the end he never left, he was
making them money and he wouldn’t leave. I do believe however she should be
able to see her son. I don’t think she is fit to take care of him though.
Joanna has a lot of growing up to do before taking or even thinking about
taking her child back.
