Joanna Kramer didn’t deserve full
custody over her son, Billy. I can understand why she left, but she was gone
for over a year with no contact. She provided very little explanation for her
departure, and left her husband, Ted to explain to her 5 year old son why his
Mommy had left. Even though she made mistakes it doesn’t mean that she is a bad
mother. Honestly I believe that there should be joint custody. Both of the
parents made mistakes but they were both good parents. Billy is a little kid
and can easily rebound to whatever damage one parent thinks the other has done
to him. There can easily be a joint custody arrangement and everything would work
out.
