Nora Good Kramer vs Kramer 2

What do you think of the job Ted did taking care of Billy by himself?

Ted at first was lost when taking care of Billy, it had always been Joanna's job so when she moved out it was a rude awakening to him of what parenthood entailed. As he began to experience more and get into the swing of things, he started choosing parenthood over his work, something he would have never even thought about before. As the routine set in and both became accustomed to the changes in their daily lives, they became more comfortable with each other, building a relationship that otherwise they probably would never have had. Ted knew what to do with Billy, he knew how to make him feel better and what to say to him when he was upset or talked about his mom. In the scene where Billy falls on his face, it is evident that Ted knows how to care for Billy, he runs him all the way to the emergency room and shows that he is willing to do anything for his son. That is what makes a good father, the unabashed, never ending love that pushes you to do anything for your son or daughter. These traits are all clearly shown in Ted Kramer.
