Serah Kramer Vs. Kramer 2

Is Joanna justified in leaving Billy and Ted alone? Why or why not?

Although Joanna felt lost and incomplete due to the certain choices she chose in life, it did not justify her actions leaving her son. Despite her problems with her husband Ted, Joanna still had a job as mother that should not have been neglected. Joanna was not justified in leaving her son. because a child needs his mother and although her life felt incomplete she was in charge of another life, and Billy should have came before her regardless of how she felt towards her husband. If Joanna wanted to leave her that would have been more aprropiate although she did, but it was after she diappeared. she owed it to Billy to at least explain her going away because in return without Billy knowing the real reasons he started to blame himself, and that is unfair for him to have that much guilt residing within him which is exactly why he started acting out. Maybe Billy wouldnt have understood with him being so young but anything was better the road Joanna chose. With Joanna's actions she lost some of her bond with her son. Billy became more attached to Ted and when the time came he did not want to live Joanna, and that is an example of how ones actions effects everyone around them and alters relationships for better or for worst.
