In the movie Kramer vs. Kramer, Joanna Kramer is awarded custody of Billy. I do not think that she deserves to have custody of Billy. She left Billy without any warning and she never said goodbye, she just packed up her stuff and left her son. Also, she left Billy once without any problems so she could easily do it again with out any problems. Even though Joanna loves her son she has been absent from his life for two years and since then Ted has really stepped up and been a real parent to Billy and has never ignored or neglected Billy like Joanna did. When Billy fell at the park and cut his face open Ted picked him up and ran to the hospital and did not stop until e got there, this shows that Ted does really care. Also, Ted would leave early from work, which is very hard for him to do an go to Billy's school to help out or talk to his teachers. I believe that Ted should have gotten custody of Billy.
