Ilise Rosen; Kramer vs. Kramer

I think that he did a good job takeing care of Billy overall. At the beginning he struggled with what it meant to be a dad and as the film went on he figured it out. In order to do a good job taking care of a child you have to realize that they depend on you and that for them to be happy it requires effort. Ted had never been a stay at home dad, so it was hard for him to balance his high profile job with taking care of Billy. Eventually Ted had to decide which he cared more about, his job or his son. When Ted chose Billy over his job, it was obvious that he had become a good father. Because of the dedacation that Ted showed once he understood what being a father meant, I think that he did a good job taking care of Billy.
