Knowing what I know about myself today, I think that I am someone who follows their head. While I am impulsive at times, I tend to make decisions and try to stick to them. I am more interested in the rational or scientific explanation of things than the instinctive explanation. I have never been in a relationship but I would prefer if the person was smart and nice than gorgeous. This applies to Hal’s decision at the end of the movie because of the implications it makes about his personal growth. He had been blind to what people were like on the inside and only noticed the superficial. After he was put under the spell by the guru, he started to think with his brain and really see people for who they were. When he met Rosemary that changed again and he learned to think with his heart. When he makes the decision at the end of the movie regarding Rosemary it is Hal’s heart that is speaking.
